This article is a year old and don't forget the owner of the mine was a big contributor the the BC Liberals under Christy Clark and the rest of the bandits sitting in the opposition benches.

And the Liberals are not in power, so again where are the Greens to save the day?

Can you imagine the outcry and court case that would result if the NDP govt. reneged on the discharge permit that the Liberals approved from the business community? “It’s a worrisome trend in a democracy such as in Canada when the corporations dictate the outcome of government decisions through their lobbying for weaker regulations to say nothing of the scandalous practice of corporate donations to our Liberal government,” he said.

Well they the Greens And the NDP don’t seem to care about the public and their opinions.
They just carry on as they want! Example is pipelines.
The majority of BC do not agree with their position and the rest of Canada does not.

They the NDP and the Greens have shown through the complete lack of action on Steelhead what they are really about.
They sold themselves as greens and that they cared! Just so much ********.

Depends which poll your reading and who paid for it. I think most British Columbians support the govt's position on the Kinder Morgan expansion for exporting raw Bitumen through Burrard Inlet to China. Thats what they campaigned on and they are sticking to it. Quebec didn't have any problems killing the east pipeline and neither did Trudeau because he needs their votes. Eastern Canada imports foriegn oil so probably in the National interest to start there first don't you think?

Well we disagree on the poll results.
I note that the NDP and Greens have shown that they do not do all the things they said they would and for these two party’s who run on they care for wildlife and have thrown Steelhead under the bus shows there tru colours.
