Ideas for a 16ft welded?

Hey there, I've had my 16 ft Naden tinny for a while now and I'm thinking of upgrading to a welded in the same length. I'd also like a bit more freeboard with the new boat. I recently saw a solid looking Silver Streak that looked to fit the bill.
Does anyone have thoughts on this or any other type of open boat?
Thanks a ton for your thoughts.

Need more information.
There are many differences in the 16' range.
Gregor makes an interesting 'lighter' welded aluminum.
Eaglecraft has a big volume 16', although it is no longer in production.

Where are you planning to use this new boat?

I fish each summer out of bamfield or Nootka. Not going offshore or anything stupid but this past week with the nice weather I was out past whittlestone and tapaltos bay, Kirby, Edward King, Flemming etc.
I want something a bit deeper than the Gregor models I've seen. In Nootka I've taken it out to Burdwood pt.
Deep V and beamy is what I'm looking for.

If you see a used lodge boat they're smaller welded units that have seen the test of time not pretty but functional; the Silver Streaks I've seen had poor finishing but that may have changed.

If your looking for a 16' with a tiller the 16' silverstreak challenger is hard to beat!!!

check out the lifetimer 1600, either tiller or centre console. I have an older one, but the newer ones have a bit more freeboard and a reverse chine.

i bought an ex north king lodge boat. awesome.
