2016 Tofino Reports

First time over this weekend. Great weather, water was very fish able. Saturday out late around 10, lots of small springs 5-9 lbs, and ended up getting 1 twenty when pulling the rods up just after 2.
Sunday out late again, couldn't get second rod in the water for a while, was getting hit on the way down or while tightening the drag up. Size was a lite bigger on average, but biggest and only one we kept was 13. Did manage beautiful Hali in 20s trolling bottom. Springs, Hali, couple other bottom dwellers for a great cooler full heading home. Good start to the year.

Last 2 days with a family from the Kooteneys has been productive

The best Chinook fishing i have witnessed in a few years is happening right now to the west end of Clayoquot sound. :)

The huge mountains of bait is attracting schools of Chinooks averaging 20 lbs. We are limiting out in 2 hours or less every morning.

If anyone is coming this way PM me and i will direct you to the hot bite.

There are fish in Tofino.

Double headers a plenty....pink hat out tomorrow as we're tubbed on springs.

I should have been in a neon jumpsuit at the co-op.....hahaha

Very nice to hear some positive vibes!
At risk of sounding like a newb.....what's the deal with the pink hat?
