WTB honda 2000 generator

I was looking for a Honda 2000 for a year or so and the ones for sale were over $1000 and described as only slightly used but were usually pretty beat up.
Was going to buy new but when doing a bit of research came across the highly rated Westinghouse iGen2200.
The Honda 2000 is the older model and is now the EU 2200 which can run sensitive electronics.
The Westinghouse iGen2200 can also run electronics.

I ended up finding it on sale for $634 on Amazon.ca last year. Its $950 now but probably still cheaper than a used Honda.

Home Depot carries them too.

I love Honda products but think their product is over priced. My Westinghouse works great and I get a 3 year warranty too.

The Honda is so quiet though... until you need power.

I actually have one sitting in basement that I never use. I considered selling it but for the $1200 tops I could get I'd rather it just sit there for when the world erupts.

Sorry this has been less than productive commentary.

The Westinghouse is just as quiet according to the specs.
Can’t argue with Honda quality but it was going to be a $1000 more for occasional use for me

There is one on langley market place for 1000$, looks in very good condition. I have a honda 2000 myself been using it for over 12 years and runs flawless, awsome litle gen
