Miami, Fla. – February 14, 2024 – Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. today unveiled the world’s first hydrogen-powered outboard for recreational boats along with a prototype fuel system integrated into a vessel that the company plans to further refine for testing later this year. The effort is part of Yamaha’s strategy to achieve carbon neutrality: deploying multiple technology solutions.

So little detail in the article, but I think this is a hydrogen combustion engine. The Achilles heel for these is fuel storage, it's far more bulky than a H2 fuel cell electric drive.

Next issue is where to fuel it? 3 locations in all of BC. None of them on the water.

Same as vehicles, who and where for supply and storage.
