I'm not sure if this type of post is a no-no, or if it's acceptable, but I'm up on the Charlottes an ex commercial fisherman and trying to lend a hand...
I have a buddy in Comox who is a displaced fisherman / logger that is desperate for any kind of work, he has been in comox for years and may even know some of you fellows.
I'm not sure how many connections he has, but I thought I'd try to help him out abit by asking if anyone knows where he might be able to find some employment. He has his own vehicle so travel shouldn't be a problem. Things are tough as hell up here on the Charlottes right know as I'm sure they are on the island, but any leads or possiblities would be greatly appreciated. If this isn't the place for such a post my apologies.
