Windfinder.com utter joke

Well having viewed the forecast i passed up going out on Saturday
as windfinder supposedly listed winds 2-3 knots for sunday morning
as up with birds early and low and behold its blowing and sloppy
so what a waste.
in future i just going to forget about using the site
as its a complete let down in its predictability of forecasting
i'll just stick to looking out the window and seeing what the tree tops are doing .....lol

Seems like a lot of the clairvoyants and prophets at these various windsites are prone to error more frequently than we're comfortable with....

I agree Wind Finder predictions are useless. I use Big Wave Dave for predictions and Wind Alert (WA) for current wind speeds. WA also posts wind speeds at weather stations, light houses and buoys. The Environment Canada (EC) marine weather also has some wind speeds at weather stations. I find EC predictions usually 8-12 too early or late, they also tend to error on the over cautious side on the weather forecasts to make up for all the lighthouses and weather stations the Harper govt. has shut down.
