Tuna Seminar-Open Invite

Tomorrow night (Friday, Sept 20th) we are having the Tuna Seminar and Coastguard Safety talk. It's taking place at the Bamfield Pub at 6:30pm and is presented by the guys at Qcove (http://www.qcove.com). I have had a few guys that are not in the derby ask me if they could attend, so we figured we would open the invitation to anyone interested. Entry will be by donation that goes towards covering the cost of the presenters traveling up from down south. Hope to see a few members there.

Thanks for posting this up Kelly. Great idea for folks that are not entered to able to attend the seminar. I really hope everyone there, including the folks entered help these guy's out. I have met both of these guy's personally and they are great individuals. It is really is cool that they are willing to come up here to do this for us. Let's do our part and help pay for their trip .

Anyone carpooling in this afternoon for just the seminar?

I am interested in going but $150 in gas seems a bit steep to see a seminar.
