Transducer Placement - Confirm spot

Hi there,

Just looking to confirm transducer placement, basically mirror the other side where the current transducer was installed by the previous owner. Seems like the most solid spot where clean water would run in my eyes, just looking to make sure I'm not missing something obvious. I'm mounting the new one with a piece of starboard.

Removing the old transducer when the new kicker arrives.

Thanks for taking a look.

Looks good to me. I’ve mounted a few in that location and gotten excellent results. The trick as you know is to get the transducer level and slightly below your hull for clean water flow

Looks pretty close to where mine sits. It’s amazing how moving it a very small amount can make a huge difference in how well it works

transom saver heres a link to the stern saver i made. drill some keyholes and the demensions I used was 5x3.5x3/4". Use two screws to just go into the fiberglass to hold it while the 4200 dries. all screws add 4200 to the threads.
