Well, my trusty old Toyota 4x4 blew a headgasket yesterday...
bummer ! needs heads planed, new timing belt, waterpump etc. etc.
i guess i can't complain Toyota did the first one under warranty in 2001.
Gonna be an expensive fix... :(
Any body with similar experience ?

I was reading up on this just the other day. Might be worth a try. Good luck!

Just a quick update ...
The shop still has the truck a week later and so far they have:
machined the heads and replaced the head gaskets, timing belt and water pump.
Injectors were leaking and needed replacement.
Mechanic said it was a nightmare, all original hoses, grommets, bushings etc. basically crumbled upon removal.
Drove it home, and no power !!
Back to the shop and he found the radiator is leaking from a pinhole that sprays directly on to the distributor causing misfire.
New radiator is on the way...

Anybody wanna guess what the damage was??

Hey Scott, how about close to the price of a new Ford......:(
