Just had my boat inspected this afternoon....wasn't bad at all.
The whole thing is a bit of a grey area...but you have to have the vessel inspected this year.
Most has been covered before so I won't bore you with more random info.
points of interest though.
1. you must be registered for a med-a3 course prioe to april 1, 2008
2. it's only recommended that the operator has a SVOP right now...probably will be legislation later but who know when.
3. VHF Radio with DSC is a must with most operators as well as a MMSI# and a ROC-MC
All are very attainable and good to have anyway you look at it.
