This is a quick note to let interested persons know that SVIAC will have a booth again this year at the Victoria Boat & Fishing Show at the Pearkes Rec Centre on Feb. 21-23. If you have do not have a membership yet, or have not had a chance to renew your annual SVIAC Membership you can easily do so when visiting our booth.
We have many exciting and important projects happening in 2014 such as the SVI Chinook Revitalization Project and sending SVIAC reps to Ottawa to lobby decision makers regarding our fisheries that we need your on-going support to make happen. Please come by our booth to find out what we have accomplished in our first year and see what we are planning to do in 2014 to promote healthy, abundant fish and recreational angling opportunities!
We also have added some new corporate sponsors that are offering discounted products and services that can help you to quickly pay back your annual membership fee while supporting SVIAC. Lastly, SVIAC President and local SFAB Chair, Chris Bos will be giving daily talks on important topics about our local fisheries that will prove to be very informative.
If you remember to bring a non-perishable food item you can get $2 off the admission fee. Thank you for your ongoing support and we look forward to seeing you at the show!
