Strathcona River Fishing

Hey guys, Me my brother and some friends want too go hiking/bush whacking in Strathcona Park too Della falls. My brother is a forestry engineer so knows his way around the woods pretty well. I'm just wondering if anyone on here has hiked in that area and fished along the way in rivers / lakes. I know there is a trail across great central that leads straight too the lake, can you fish the river along the way? I belive it's called drinkwater or something. We were hoping to take a more bush whacking root too the falls.. hike in the morning fish the day camp out at night. Has anyone done anything similar?
