Steelhead in the oyster river

I just moved to black creek, does anyone know if there is a run of steelhead that go up the oyster river??

As far as I know they get a few fish but not many. I don't think people really fish it at all for steelies. Pretty sure it's all catch and release as well.

If there steel there and its open people will fish for them.The oyster is one of those rivers people like to keep hush hush and not discussed on a open forum.I feel the spotlight brings awareness to the river in question and benefits it.The naysayers just want the flow to themselves for selfish reasons.I personally have never wet a line in it so i dont know what the #s of steel are there but i would say probally like the rest of the island in sharp decline.
