Steelhead Fishing

What's the water levels look like up on the Cowichan river, or the San Juan Water shed? Any Steelhead in the usual spots?

Water is getting up to steelheading levels, but it's really clear. I've heard of an early fishor two being cuaght down low but mid river is all coho and chum. Should start up soon!

Been fishing the Quatse out of Hardy the last week. Caught 2 beautys, 1 a hatch doe, a 12lb bar (which I bonked). The other a pretty coloured wild buck about the same size. Going to be down island for the holidays will probably hit the cowy or make the trip out to reny and do the san juan system depending on the snow situation. Any updates from you guys down there are always greatly apprieciated.

Curtis, you are doing well! In all my time fishing that area, I never ever ever hooked one in that spot in your first pic. Always thought I should though. Anyway, beauties!
