Nice plan for those of us on the South Island. Public uses Telus towers. Nice to see some cheap plans.

The plan doesn't expire. As long as you don't change plans it stays the same. Also you can bring your own number with you.

Canada has really came along way the last couple years with cellphone plans. It’s pretty seamless transferring&going with the smaller carriers. Leaves more money in our pockets for boat gas.

I just switched my cell phone service to Public mobile for the free USA roaming. Now when I fish in sooke I can just use the US towers if I can't get a canadian signal. $34 50gig or $40 for 75gigs. Promotional plan (on as of Feb 29 2024) for now

The current public mobile plan on promotion has free roaming in the USA. I am switching today! $34 dollars for calling/texting and 50gig 5g data. I'm currently with Koodo on a $34 dollar plan with 50gig but only 4g and no usa roaming.

Public mobile plan will fix my connection issues while fishing in sooke/beachy and renfrew. I can just roam on USA towers if connection is weak to the telus network.
