Has anyone here ever had a situation where there were 2 sonars operating on a boat and found they confused each other?or cancelled one out? or screwed up the signal in any way?I have a lcx15 upstairs and a x85 below. For whatever reason,I always turn on the x85 when I start the engines.I then go up top to drive and turn on the lcx15.At about 100' depth, the x15 looses signal and does not get it back.I've replaced everything connected to it.Source line, power cable, transducer. No luck.Loaned it to a friend and it worked fine. Now i'm sittin here at work and thinkin,Dang!I wonder. It might be getting mixed signals and confusing it.If I go back to shallow water(less than 50') and turn off and restart, its o.k. again.
Maybe this is just common knowledge and I've been in a dark hole. What do you 'pros' think?
