Subject: FN0474-Recreational: Sockeye Fishery; Area 23 Barkley Sound and Alberni Inlet
The July 02 Somass sockeye in-season runsize reforecast is indicating a runsize
of 450,000. In consultation with the Area 23 Salmon Harvest Committee and the
Port Alberni SFAC it was agreed that the daily possession limit for sockeye in
Area 23 would increase to four (4) sockeye per day effective 00:01h Saturday
