Snow Crabs, Owen bay

I think I caught two snow crabs in my trap at Owen bay, located on Sonora Island. Has anyone else caught these? I didnt think they were native to the area. Really tasty though, better than dungies in my opinion.

Over the years I have soaked a lot of traps in Owen Bay. I have even had three traps stolen -- Know who did it, but cant prove it..:(

But I have never seen anything except rockies and dungeness crabs out of the bay. Only other notable was a Puget Sound king crab in Okisolo. (sp?)

What size were they? Pics?

I didnt take any pics., we cooked em up right away. Unknown, yea, they probably were tanner crabs. I googled tanner crab and snow crab, they look the same to me. So, they could have been either. Still tasty though!
