Shore Sockeye...

Just wondering if anyone here fishes sockeye from shore in the colony farm -Pitt river area. I am staring to see a few people fishing from shore along there. I presume they are bottom bouncing for sox. If you do or have any tips on colors, rigs or even spots from shore I would greatly appreciate any help getting started.

Yes, this should be moved, but if you do fish that area, it is tidal, so you need a tidal licence and stamp to retain Sockeye. You might want to try flossing them with a float fishing set up in that area as it is very deep and not a practical spot to bounce the bottom as it is also snaggy. Guys do bar fish from that location though.

Yah I kinda thought freshwater section but wasn't sure since it is part of the tidal license. Will repost it.
