Responsible, non drinking, physically fit, mature man looking for employment. Qualifications include SVOP, MEDA3, ROCM, class 5 drivers licence with air brake endorsement (class 3 can be renewed). Trained in swift water rescue, small motor repair. University education in fisheries management. Lowrance/Simrad technician, three years installation experience, several more years operating troubleshooting and maintaining industrial sonar (oilfields), and imaging sonar (DFO). Experienced in fiberglass repair (three years operating my own surfboard/boat repair business). Able to splice rope, rig wire rope and completely re-wire a boat. Eight years sales experience at West Marine and more recently The Harbour Chandler. Recently became contributing author to BC Oudoors magazine. Well known and respected in the local boating community. 34 years recreational fishing experience, avid boater and surfer (can read big water).
