Hope you get to this before the pins start going green with corrosion.
Di-electric grease will do the job of keeping the water out and the corrosion down.
If you get green on the pins; it will be too small to sandblast or burnish clean, so use a conductivity enhancer. Get a can of copper clad anti-seize, and using a toothpick, put a small amount of copper clad into the hole for each pin. When the copper molecules are compressed they conduct electricity well.
