Need help for fishing in Penticton

I am in Penticton for a while and I am looking for a place to go fishing. I have no boat and was thinking about bass and maybe some trout.

I have been on the eastern side of Skaha lake and got nothing I was using a wedding ring and worm.

Any suggestions will be great.

Try the Ashnola River by Keremeos near the Cathedral lakes parking/pick-up spot. It's loaded with very small rainbows. A great place to learn catch and release fly fishing.
