Great post!

I feel like the fight against the aquaculture industry has hit the back burner these days, with the huge Sockeye return to the Fraser River this fall, along with the current Halibut "issue", thank you for the reminder!

I still wonder how Minister Shea could have been placed in this position with a commercial fisherman (or ex-commercial fisherman) husband... seems like quite the conflict of interest to me!

shea is a tool, well more like a puppet really, the enormity of the situation the fisheries are in is by far too much for her to comprehend, we truely need our own separate entity for the westcoast fisheries, she is friggin clueless....holmes*

You're right Holmes, let the provinces run their own fisheries, and get rid of the fed burocrats.
