Thinking of buying one of these units. Looks good on the video, but its supposed to look that way, right?
So the question is:
Does this device actually work on the gravel bars we encounter on the Fraser and Harrison rivers?
To my way of thinking, only the blade in contact with obstructions on the bottom will be protected where the River Runner covers the skeg. What about the blades as they rotate outside of the gear-case where there is no protection?
If you have some photos of the lower end or propeller after a contact (preferably one at cruising speed where the most damage is likely) where the unit has been installed thats would be great.
