Is anybody using "Keelguard" adhesive keel protector on their boats ?
Looks like a good product, however a little pricey.

Great thread-I was looking at that the other day and could use it , didn't see the price and like you was wondering how it worked. Come-on guys somebody must have tried it!!!!

I bought one this past summer and my wife installed it with a little bit of help from me.Two people definitley make the installation a lot easier.Follow the instructions to a "T" and don't deviate from them. The boat spent two weeks in the water and was used each of those days in August. No sign of it coming loose at all.
I bought the short model which I think is a six foot strip and taxes in I paid close to $200.00.I really think that it's money well spent though.Especially after having an aluminum boat for 19 years and not having to worry when I beached it.Glass isn't so forgiving.;)

I have it on my Malibu. Great product and there is no signs of it coming off for the past two years of use.

The instructions say not to install where the keelguard is in contact
with roller's...
I saw a boat the other day which had one installed in a position
where it rested on a roller and looked ok ?
