What have you done to enhance the typical under gunwale rod storage? We run 10.5’ rods and when broken down do fit nicely between the large black grommet-like holes from stern to midship. The issue, IMO, is that there is a ton of wiring that also runs parallel to the rods when they are put in. Has anyone come up with a diy solution to running a tube (pvc?) deeper into the opening to protect the wires?
