Hey I got into fly fishing recently and have been practicing my casts at the lake while waiting for Cowichan River to open. I was wondering if anyone wants to go out on a Sunday or Monday (when the river is open) and show me the ropes a bit. Afterwards I'm happy to send you home with a few beers (or beverage of your choice). I'm pretty laid back, looking to fish for trout and drink some coffee and enjoy the river. I've got all my own gear and a truck so I won't need to touch any of your gear.
Open to any areas southern vancouver island. Cowichan River would be preferred but anywhere that works for you (sooke, port renfrew, Nitnat, etc)
