Haig-Brown legacy at risk ?

When I first saw the title of this thread I wondered if it might be about this oversight.
The original wooden sign, bottom pic, fell down and was reported to the City.

They replaced the old sign with this spiffy new one.
Notice anything missing?

I got after the City about this and they sent me a photo similar to the one posted here, only in their photo the name Haig-Brown wasn't there, having been removed by someone previously.
Apparently they used that as the model for the new one.

Just how nobody at City Hall or in the works department had not seen the original sign with the Haig-Brown name on it escapes me, but there it is.
I've been on the City about this and am hopeful it will be remedied soon, but geepers, how do you leave his name off that sign?

Take care.
