i was thinking of netflix as we have Wii, but once i looked them up online and their selection.. i said no way, no new releases that i could find, just 2years or older movies that i can see on cable

Pirates Bay is still around, but be careful going in there - they have very active viruses that can get you just by visiting - I know, I got 2 of them a while back - real ******* to clean out of the system too.

Here's my list of places to go for BitTorrents:

http://www.ahashare.com/ - One of the best.
http://btjunkie.org/
http://www.demonoid.com/
http://www.kickasstorrents.com/
http://www.torrentday.com/
http://eztv.it/ - Great TV Show site!
http://www.btmon.com/
http://www.bt-chat.com/

That ought to keep you busy for a while! ;)

If anyone has other good dependable sites, please list them.

I've been downloading torrents and such for years, but only last couple of months have I had a virus problem. Pretty sure it was piratebay, but it could also be tvshack.cc

TVshack provides free on-demand viewing of tv shows and movies ... but I now think it is full of viruses, so not going there any more.

I use btjunkie.org and eztv.it myself.

starting to not trust any of these now - I was using ninjavideo for TV and I see they are basically shut down...friend of mine got a fried computer on another movie download, and I even got something funny on my new computer after trying to watch the Lesnar fight through Vshare - screw this chit...I was able to do a restore and seem to have shaken the couple bugs I got (security block to hotmail and IE crashes), but not messing around anymore with these sites.

As for netflix - its only good for 2nd run stuff and apparently the Canadian version has an odd selection at times. It's cheap enough though, so if you watch older stuff, may as well give it a go.

I use btjunkie. Have never had an issue with it yet. Each download has comments attached by users to let you know if it is a legitimate download. Whats nice about this site is you do not need to be a member to download the content.

Reel Chaos

I use Isohunt. Pretty much any movie I've wanted to download including a lot of specialized stuff and older flicks as well as brand new stuff. No memberships or other BS either. Have had one glitch in two years.

Extinction is Forever

I use Malwarebytes Anti Malware pro version. The absolute best in the industry. It will block websites and IPs containing malicious code as well as cleaning and removing threats that most AV's cannot handle. Then it is up to you to decide whether to allow the site and take a chance.
Almost all "free" sites are malicious cause there ain't no free lunch but a smart and careful puter user can get by.

btw, here is a scary heads up for mobile WIFI users.
