Hey everybody,
finaly got a chnace to get out on the water(exams<img src=icon_smile_dead.gif border=0 align=middle>) been killin me lately. went out yesterday morning, made 5 passes at the cape mudge lighthouse, nuthin, went over to shelter point, end of the ebb tide..nice 18 pound spring decided to join us for dinner. went back out again tonite, jigged for a while, my buddy caught a wild coho(released) went back to trolling my fav plug...hour and a half later with still no hits, went north to fish in fron of the anchor inn(now ramada inn). put the riggers back down and in half an hour me and my buddy each had one fish each, his 25 pounds, mine was 22<img src=icon_smile_big.gif border=0 align=middle>.
over the weekend the annual womens derby was held at painters lodge..not sure how many fish came in, but i know 54 whalers went out each day, and that the winning fish was 32.4 pounds, from the lighthouse.
