fishin store in nanaimo?

heading to bamfield for a week in mid july. getting off the first ferry from twassen. where is a good place to stop to buy some bait, lures, and prawning traps and pellets. prefferably a shop that is easy to find and not too far outta the way. thanks

Canadian Tire.....it's right on the strip as you head out of Nanaimo. :p :p

There is also Pacific Net and Twine. http://www.pacificnetandtwine.com/

If you take the turn off to go to Coombs.....hwy #4A (it's take you back on to #4/Alberni Hwy) and you'll see it a little ways down on your left hand side of the road. It's kind of a big "box" of a building that is a light greyish type colour if I recall correctly.

If you do go that way....stop at the grocery store/market that has the goats on the roof; pick up some of the their breads and you will be a happy, happy Kamloopian when you get to Bamfield. :D

With a boat in tow-As Pippen stated" Pacific Net & Twine" would be the ticket & the bread at Combo's is yummy :)

Gone Fishin and Wholesale Sports. Parking is poor at Gone Fishin' if you have a trailer behind you but you can park on the road behind. Parking is a bit better at Wholesale Sports but still a bit tight if you've got a trailer behind. Both are right on the old hiway and easy to find.
