...pulled the new boat home last Monday, after the test run in Indian Arm.... since then, the heater has been installed, and while I'm waiting for the propane tank box to be fabricated, the camper back canvas/ poles are being constructed. Should all be completed by mid next week... so we can start puting her through the sea trials...:D.
She's an 08 Hewescraft Searunner 220, with extended transom/hardtop... 150 Yamaha/9.9 Yamaha... Raymarine C-20 Chartplotter/sounder/radar... digital guages w/ fuel flow... Boat was ordered last November... Xmas is finally here!!!!

That sure sounds like a nice Christmas present! Well done. Oh yeah, and post some pics.

Thanks guys... did alot of research and many test runs before we decided on this boat... Saw alot of great boats, but in the end, the Searunner had a few options that were important for us and our boating needs. We'll get some pics when we get it in the water...hopefully, this coming week!
Hey, Concerned Angler... yes, it was quite a wait. Originally, it was to be delivered to our dealer in the first week in February, there were delays in delivery from Colville, Washington, because of heavy snow in the passes. Yes, I've been using the Hewescraft Owner's forum for quite awhile... Along with the Alaska Boater's forum, it has also been a great source for information for us... and actually, had alot of influence on our final decision.
By the way, the Alumaweld is an awesome boat... congratulations! ...will look forward to your photos.
