It was a great day to be on the lake today.Got on the lake and decided to go with a fast sink line and a size 6 dragon nymph.First cast and a nice 20 inch cutty slammed it.Second cast and an 18 inch cutty slurped it up.About 20 minutes later I was into the fattest 22 inch rainbow I had seen in awhile.This trout rivalled ones I catch in the interior.Its body was so fat it hardley fit in the net.I wish I had a stomach pump with me to see what this thing had been gorging on.It cartwheeled 5 times and made 4 good runs to the backing.One more beast busted my 5lb tippet and my afternoon was done.As the weather warms,I am looking forward to alot more dragon and damsell action.
