Aproxemately 3000 adult chinnooks as the last week in Oct.,800 of which were trapped and hauled up river before the
rains came. They also estimate 1000 lost due to the low water conditions. Those fish were trapped at the mouth for over
a month,and any that managed to squeak through got nailed by the FN spearers and jiggers. I personally think that the
overall losses were alot higher than 1000 fish,given the exceptional returns of coho and chum this year.
