Bass fishing

Is it even worth trying to find bass this time of year.? If so anyone got some tips for a guy.

You can give it a shot, but it will be really slow. I start bass fishing in march with weighted flies, an will move towards topwater stuff in april and may. If you want to target them now fish around deep rock ledges, and anywhere where there is structure down deep. Weighted soft plastics for spin and bait casting, or if you are a fly guy a full sink line and a weighted bunny leech. I would fish the back end of the island at prospect lake, big rocky drop off, around 40ft deep.
