Adams Lake Bull Trout

Hi everyone. Looking for help with Adams lake.

I am really trying to figure out the bull trout in this lake and am struggling. It’s so deep it makes it hard to pin point any fish, or fish structure properly. I’ve caught a couple lake trout at the south end of the lake jigging but I really want to get into some Bull Trout while down rigging.

Do you just set your riggers at certain depths and fish for suspended fish? How are your targeting fish specifically? Close to shore or out in open water?

very difficult lake and looking for any tips I can get

thanks

When I lived in Revelstoke, the best method for Bull trout was pulling a Lyman or a Tomic plug (no weight)
The other method was using planer boards. Maybe an ounce or 2 with an Apex but, the biggest 5 diamonds worked great
Might get a Bow on the Apex. Downriggers were only useful in Shuswap Lake and not very deep (no ore than 60') Gl
