18.5 podded Double eagle trailer?

Bought a double axle trailer for my 18.5 Double eagle (probably 21 with pod and motor), but needs work and it feels a little too big. Anyone have the same or similar boat on a single axle trailer? Thoughts?

18’ Hourston prodded on a single probably pushing the limit comfortably new 4 strokes kicker cannonballs etc etc adds up quick..if your gonna trailer a lot or long distances the double would be a good thing especially with camping gear etc loaded in the boat on a trip. Have towed from north van to hardy and to ucluelet and gold river without issue but the boat is moored most of the year otherwise so the trailer sees little use.

Double is going to provide the boat a much smoother ride as well. No where near as much bouncing on rough roads than with a single.
