12 Pound Cannon Ball Mould

I have a pair of 12 pound cannonballs that were horribly poured. I was curious how much someone might charge to melt them down for me, and re pour them with a proper 12pound mould. ?
I was also curious as to what you use for the eyes when you pour your lead?

Bought a 12# & 15# mold and three pack's of eyes and have around 400lb of lead just waiting for the molds

i have these exact molds and a 2/3lb they work very well sometimes the first ball gets wrinkles in the lead - think all you have to do is heat up the mold to stop that
i got a cast iron pot and ladle from another site if i think of what it was ill post it- just be carefull melting old lead it pops and sprays lead everywhere!!

Should not pop/spray/splatter in no moisture is in the lead unless there are contaminates . If it wrinkles, the mold is too cold.......heat it up

IMO 12lbs is a tad small!!!!

Built a 12lb pancake mold for Canadian Lead Products, wonder if shez still in production?????
