My old K&C is still one of the favourites that I’ve had. I wish I still had it. 16’ with a 115 merc tower of power. That boat was so fast and had so much torque you could feel the engine trying to spin the boat when you really got on it.

I think those boats were rated for 70 hp max.No wonder it was fast !

Nice. We sized up and let ours go about 7 years ago. We bought it from a boat restoration place in Kelowna that was going under and it had all new floors and stringers done before they closed up shop. It had “miss Hali” painted on the side so I’m sure it was originally from the island. Someone here might even know about its history. I’d for sure buy another one if I came across one for sale.

Still just rocking the old girl. First boat I ever bought. My buddies dad bought it new and it was in their family until I bought it. 1980 18' Starcraft Fibreglass. I grew up on lake boats (16' K&C, 16' Lund, 19' Princecraft fish n ski). I have a 12' Lund at the lake cabin. My next boat will be 21-23' with a cuddy.
