In keeping with this theory, The genetic survival traits must also be considered to be strong with the returning hatchery fish, look what it had to endure in it's life before returning. I don't buy this arguement, although I do believe Wild fish to be the better of the two of course. I think one of the biggest problems is the loss of the 5 yr old runs. The Monster Tyee's. Most of the genetics for these fish are gone for good! As a fisherman, these are the ones we want to catch, not some defunct hatchery clone.
