Ooops... Site wont let me edit.
Anyways, Finally hooked into my first hali... Ever! I was sitting on a nice little pinnicle right in front of Pedder Bay. Me and my buddies have put in countless hours and dollars over the years trying to drag one of these bastards up. This weekend was my cousins batchelor party on the boat. What better time to finally get one!
We were fighting doggies all through a strong flood saterday afternoon with spreader bars, herring, octipus, squid, mackrel. About an hour away from the current change, the current started slowing, a light breeze picked up, and my cous decided to throw a large white grub down. Second jig and WHAM it was on. The ****ing thing was pulling so hard, I had to adjusts the drag for him. With the rod bent way down, and his arm started to cramp, about 5 minutes later, maby 10 we finally saw it coming up. We expected a huge fish!

Nice fish telestar 26, And a small world, I spent many an hour on that boat as a kid. My buddies dad built it from the ground up! I am still amazed he sold after the bucks involved in that repower. That boat is built like a tank.
