Much the same over at Texada. Lot of driftwood as well. Even saw some kelp balls which have been very scarce around here the last few years.
However we did limit on springs and had the fish and chips of the year as well.
Man was there a lot of salad out there yesterday. I figure I had a layer about 8-12 inches deep across the whole stern of the boat. Had to clean the lines every tack of the bay. Seemed like a lot of work for a 10# spring and a 7# ling. But had our first fresh fish and chips of the season last night so it was all worth while, mmmmhhhh fresh battered cod, nothing like it.
Anyone else noticing a lot of that bubble weed this year or is it just an extra bit of fun in our area?
