    Seal deterents

My slingshot broke last time out. I'm wondering if anyone would share their method of keeping the buggers away.

forget it, if they want your fish you're hooped...
only thing you cn do (legally) is move to another area
    where there are no seals.

I bring a few 10lb rocks and when its close to the boat dome em. Dont always smoke them but the splash and bubbles often confuses them enough to reef in the fish the last 10 feet.

Same deal as kelly said, go pick up a bucket of rocks that are pretty decent sized and throw them at the seal the second it surfaces. Most often they get scared and let go. If not you can always buy a T-Shirt! HA

How about a BB gun. You don't kill them it so should be ok? Just have to be discreet about it. Saw off the butt and you're laughing[8D][8D] Crappy tire's got the CO2 powered 357mag replicas, just cover it with a towel or something.
Not a lawyer so don't take my word for it, and no I don't have nothing like that on my boat.

    cheers

Thanks for the ideas. The rocks are sure the right price. And I would never think of carrying the new Crossman pellet rifle with the 12 shot clip and large c.o.2 cartridge. On sale for only $89.00.

Actually, I bought it at the fishing store in Ladner. I played with it in the backyard.Uses the same large c.o.2 that the paintball guns use. Has a 12 round clip and fires as fast as you can pull the trigger, sweet! Not as nice as Walleye's but could be fun. But I won't take on the boat,of course.

I bought one with the glow green insert in the foresight , fairly accurate rifle , limited range but works , don't let this out about us old guys turning into illegal stuff though !
