wool paterns for salmon

hey i was just wondering if i could get some advice on different wool paterns used in the vedder river and in the fraser river near the agasiz bridge...for different salmon runs...please email em to me if u have any advice or tips for me...thank you very much

Are you asking about wool "fly" patterns or just colour combinations to try in the river?

There are a number of marabou egg patterns out there that you can easily convert to wool ... just make the tie more sparse as wool doesn't flatten out like marabou does.

In terms of just "wool-on-a-sticky-hook", try combinations of red, cherise, neon green and shrimp; and wrap them all in a thin layer of white wool to soften the colur and appear as milking eggs.

Remember, even if you are using bait in your chosen river, a little wool is always a good idea for extra colour and to ... just maybe ... get caught in the slab's teeth long enough for a slow-reflex guy like me to feel the bite.
