    Lost Boat

    Just recieved this at work. Since we spend a lot of time flying the west coast of the island and the mainland, they want us to be on the look out as well.

    Vessel: description: 30 ft Tahitian Ketch with a white wooden hull, and tan sails.
    Power: 10 HP diesel engine
    Communication: handheld VHF radio, but unfortunately no HF Radio
    2 GPS units and World GMAP with a lap top
    SSB receiver no transmitter
    The vessel has a 406 EPIRB

    Looks like they have been missing for a bit. Isin't a 30' a wee bit small to be traversing the pacific in?? I guess if you are experienced and have a knowledge of the route it will be ok. There is a picture with it but I cannot post it.
