if transport Canada has no info on it I would apply as a new registration then
and get new BC numbers and away you go.

So here is the situation I'm in
I was giving a boat and trailer by a friend. The trailer was registered in their name and has been transferred to me so I can register. Here comes the problem. When they bought the boat they never registered it because the previous owner from them never did for years aswell. Transport Canada could not find any information on the boat when they tried. Soooo now I have the boat, how do I go about getting it properly registered and numbered?

Thank you. I'll give it a try and see what happens![]()
Seeing as the previous owner never did this, should I mark it down as a new registration or abandoned?
maybe abandoned and salvaged=no tax????
