    CJ Spoons

    Ive been hearing alot about these CJ spoons that charlie jones makes i was wonder what ones have been the most productive for slaying fish.

    This time last year I was using mostly the 3.5,4,and 5inch. The bigger sizes seemed to work better in deeper water where the 3.5inch size was killer on the beach in 100ft of water. The pilchard design in the 5inch was red hot at porlier starting may 24 and the 3.5-4inch greens and purples were awesome too. This year he has created a 3.5 and 4inch glow squid pattern that is hot right now!

    I ran the Blue/Yellow Pilchard CJ off French creek the other day for awhile just for the hell of it.

    While I didn't get any solid hits.......when I brought it up and had a look at it...it had some serious teeth marks on it.

    I live pretty close to charlie and ive bought a bunch of the pitlcher ones where i guide up in nootka sound theres lots of the piltchers so im exited to try some of them. He was telling me about his glow squid ones but he doesnt have right now
