I think holmes grabbed my junk in the "pile on" though....I found it inappropriate but I was released gently; given what we were piling on about I found it educational as to a good release.~ Pip
And Lipripper - until you have been there, I would strongly suggest you STFU. ~ bigbruce
pea soup on this side of the strait has me tied up. i'd be out there except for the idiots running around as if they could see anything. no radar reflector just WOT on the throttle. no thanks, better weather is right around the corner. but, i am chomping at the bit as some nice chinook have been landed earlier this week, 21, 23, 24.....all from the same area. damn fog!
Out yesterday afternoon for a short fish before some fog quickly rolled in with some winds along with it ... 130-330 off secretary ... managed a 19# spring and a decent sized sockeye which got to live another day
That is a tough one. One day you can use the hottest hootchie next day they like other color..... I find though anything with green/glow 75% it will work always vs all other colors... White also can be next standby than I start using the purple combo etc. Whites like one kind of pattern I find last three years (late aug/early sept)sorry can't share that (lol). You know its funny I like bait but hootchies are very simple to use, and I often find you can pick up fish during very slow days sometimes.....Some times it makes me laugh I see huge springs in cleaning table, and guy turns around says used ugliest red or whatever hootchie...
I am sure other guys have other opinions it just works for me...
