Lots of action for us yesterday from about mid -ebb to low slack. We didn't get our gear wet until about 6:20 and when I asked if we missed anything early...we had. A couple of boats were done already and had gone in. We fished until 3pm but didn't see a whole lot going on at Otter at that time and we had to get the guys back to catch a ferry. Apparently the night before the 6pm Twass ferry was about 1/3 full....very few tourists visiting us again this year.

Sounds like the ramp was a little tied up

That's gotta suck.... nobody hurt at least. That ramp can get slick

I think holmes grabbed my junk in the "pile on" though....I found it inappropriate but I was released gently; given what we were piling on about I found it educational as to a good release. ~ Pip

Powered up from Victoria to Fish otter and west from 6ish till after lunch. Caught one wild coho within the first minute then skunksville. Terrible. Tons of bait and marked fish all day. Saw one 30 lb spring caught. Headed to Victoria where I caught a small hatch spring at Albert head on the way home.

I would bet that's what he was referring to.... Went in at 5:30ish and out around 10 and if not I am waiting on Wolfies pics

Lets start a pool on what forum member will start a thread on proper launching procedure.

Sometimes shyte happens and feel bad for the guy...
I would bet something happened Glen, the ramp is slick but not that slick. I have yet to hear the story.
